In cooperation with Iniciativa Verde, we are supporting small farmers restore 36 hectares of heavily deforested and degraded land through agroforestry in the State of Para, Brazil. Around 10,000 native tree and plant species will be planted in order to capture CO2 and improve soil and water, while also securing a sustainable income for the farmers.

The food industry should be transparent and accountable for our CO2 emissions. We have partnered with Eaternity Institut (founded at ETH Zurich) to evaluate the environmental footprint of our products through a Life Cycle Analysis.
We received the highest possible sustainability score for our Frozen Acai Puree and Bio Acai Bowls based on Eaternity’s metrics for CO2 emissions, water usage, animal welfare (vegan) and protection of the rainforest.
The Rainforest Company is committed to measure, reduce, compensate and report on our CO2 emissions by undertaking UNFCCC’s Climate Neutral Now pledge.
